Colleen's work reflects her obsession with light and colour.
Initially painting landscapes in watercolour, and looking for
for a niche for herself, she decided to explore Still Life and
Florals in oils and acrylics, as these media better suited her
temperament as well as her painting style. She has recently
been challenging herself by using a black canvas technique
which has proven quite successful for her.
Colleen holds memberships in a number of artist groups and recently was awarded Elected Membership with the Society of Canadian Artists. Her work can be found in both private and corporate collections in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom, and has
been featured in a variety of publications.
